Through collaboration and partnership, we facilitate social, environmental, economic, and quality-focused initiatives in coffee-dependent communities. We believe projects will have a greater impact and be more sustainable when we pull resources together and encourage collaboration in order to reach common goals.

We are a resource to those creating, facilitating, or contributing to sustainable projects in the coffee lands. Program design and management is our job, allowing farmers and coffee companies to focus on their jobs. With solidarity and lasting partnerships, we can impact livelihoods in coffee-dependent communities.

As a collaborative, we strive to be connected to as many people as possible in order to impact as many people as possible. The more we know, the bigger our networks, and the greater our resources, the more support we can offer. We love new ideas, new partners, and new projects.

Residencies are three-month long campaigns to support sustainable initiatives. With help from The Chain Collaborative, businesses in residence choose a project they would like to support, and we help them plan their campaign. All money raised goes to the chosen project.
